Celebrate Vasanta Utsab with Biswajit Roychowdhury & Asish Mukherjee
Visit Asutosh Biirth Centenary Hall in Indian Museum at 5:30 pm on March 10, 2009 for a grand celebration of Vasanta Utsab. Features are a violin recital by Prof. Biswajit Roychowdhury accompanied by Prof. Ashish Mukherjee (tabla), to be followed by a Manipuri dance show by Manipuri Nartanalaya.

Visit Rabindra Sadan on March 7th at 6 pm for the inauguration of a festival celebrating the completion of 36th year of Manipuri Natyalaya. A new audio- visual production “Amitajyoti” will be launched on the day with choreography by Bimbavati Devi. The presentation is based on Rabindranath’s Viswa Parichoy. Added attractions will be recitation by well known Aruna Mohanty and her group from Bhubaneswar.
