Wednesday, April 15th, 2009Paschim Banga Rajya Sangeet Academy has organized an eight-day music festival to welcome the Bengali New Year (Bangla Noboborsho). More than eleven hundred artists from different districts across West Bengal will take part in this great festival of music. Some of the eminent participants inlcude Manna De, Dwijen Mukhopadhyay, Subhamita, Srikanto Acharya, Indrani Sen, Shraboni Sen, Jatileshwar Mukhopadhyay, Subir Sen, Sibaji Chattopadhyay, Arundhati Homchowdhury, Saikat Mitra, Nirmala Mishra, and Babul Supriya.
