Friends 91.9 FM Music Festival – Review
Monday, March 2nd, 2009Friends 91.9 FM Music Festival, a three day music carnival, got off to a colourful start on 27 th February at Nazrul Mancha .The students of Dakshinee, heralded spring with Orey bhai, phagun legechey ,’Akaash,amay bhorlo aloy’, Aji ei gondhobidhuro , however the choric rendition of an exquisitely private song like ‘Aj Jyotsnaraatey’ was incongruent and moreover the organization of songs by such a premier institute was diffused.

Sunday, January 11th, 2009A premiere institute of Rabindra Sangeet, established under the patronage of Late Shri Anil Kumar Sen, was founded by the veteran exponent of Rabindrasangeet, Shrimati Sumitra Sen in the early 60’s. Tribeni has groomed many successful singers over the past few decades and has many successful productions to its credit including ‘Balmiki Pratibha’,’Kalmrigaya’,and ‘Shapmochan.’
